At TransAfrican Development Inc., we strive to diversify our efforts in mental & behavioral health promotion. Beyond our ongoing foundational services as an HCBS-AMH Provider Agency, we are currently working on other related projects that will expand our reach and help provide the affordable and accessible mental & behavioral healthcare services that Texans need.

CCBHC Establishment
We have embarked on undertaking our biggest project yet - establishing our own Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic! Known as the Ndando House Health Center, this clinic will expand our services to the general population of the Greater Houston Area. Stay tuned for more updates to come...
UTHealth SPH Partnership
You can't provide services without adequate community health research. Well who better to collaborate with on research than Texas' top-ranked School of Public Health - UTHealth Houston. Since the summer of 2022, students from UTHealth's MPACH Department have been assisting us with conducting research necessary to establish the NHHC and overall expand our reach as an organization. We've learnt so much from them and have even recruited one of their very own alumni as our Research Assistant.
IRB Certified Endeavors
In August of 2024, Ndando House officially established its own Institutional Review Board approved by the U.S. Office for Human Research Protections. This federal approval gives us the greenlight conduct qualitative human research where valuable input can be provided to us by members of communities domestic and abroad.
